SOUPER BOWL
OF CARING PROJECT
The Second Episcopal District (SED) has been most generous in supporting “Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday.” We are grateful for your benevolent spirit. As in past years, we are calling upon you to support our youth by giving a sacrificial offering to the YPD on Super Bowl Sunday, February 13, 2022.
The Souper Bowl of Caring is a national movement with youth across the United States working together to fight hunger in their local communities around Super Bowl Sunday.
February is the month that the District YPD has dedicated to assisting the Shirley Sheares AME Empowerment Center/Shelter in Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as other needy agencies in our conferences. We are asking pastors to please allow your YPder’s to collect the funds.
To facilitate the giving process, the churches are requested to send their checks to the Conference YPD Directors. In turn, the Conference YPD Directors are asked to submit a report of funds raised to the District YPD Director no later than Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
Thanks in advance for your support as we continue to encourage our youth and pool our resources to help those in need. In the Spirit of The REAL Church – Rising to the Challenge
